Senior Commercial Contracts Manager

We are looking for ambitious and driven Senior Commercial / Contracts Manager to be part of our successful infrastructure team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate should have experience in managing the full contract and commercial lifecycle of a major high-speed rail project.MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:Management of all the commercial aspects of executing the programme management consultants role on a major high-speed rail projectManages the monitoring and reporting of contracts administration performance by Consultants Construction Supervisors and Contractors Interface with other teams to meet overall program deliverables Assists in the development of the contracts and procurement strategy standards policies procedures and best practices Establishing and maintaining procedures for award and administration of Project contracts where this role is in a pre-contract position Provides support to the pre-contracts management team to ensure that they meet the Project objectives by establishing contracts and securing materials equipment and related services on time and within budget in an ethical manner at all times in accordance with procedures  Qualifications : Minimum of 15 years post graduate experience with experience in major high speed rail projectDegree holder in Quantity Surveying or related field (Construction Management Civil Engineering Electrical Engineering.Professionally qualified in MRICS MCIOB or equivalent is preferableSound knowledge of the contract administration aspects of a major rail project with substantial experience in contract administration Experience in managing large teams of up to 15 people Experience in international contracting mechanisms e.g. FIDIC Experience in the assessment of claims and variations on major infrastructure projects.  Experienced user of MS Office contract administration software and project management software Undergraduate degree or membership of a recognized International Professional Body e.g. MRICS Previous experience in the Middle East is an advantage Fluency in English language both written and spoken  Additional Information : Join our social media conversations for more information about Turner & Townsend and our exciting future projects: TwitterInstagramLinkedInIt is strictly against Turner & Townsend policy for candidates to pay any fee in relation to our recruitment process.
