Senior Backend Engineer – GoLang, NestJS & AWS MicroservicesWe have an urgent requirement for our banking client in Abu Dhabi, UAE.Strong experience:Strong experience on GoLang and NestJS, including writing RESTful and gRPC APIs. ---MustStrong experience on Building scalable REST/gRPC APIs with clean, testable code MUSTStrong experience on AWS services for microservices deployment: Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, CloudWatch, is THE MUSTStrong experience on microservices architecture and service orchestration is THE MUSTWe are looking for an experienced Backend Developer proficient in GoLang, NestJS, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust, secure, and cloud-ready backend solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze functional and technical requirements to define the most suitable backend architecture using NestJS, GoLang, or a hybrid microservices model.Design and implement scalable, secure middleware services and RESTful/gRPC APIs, following TDD and clean coding standards.Develop unit and integration tests (using Jest for NestJS and Go testing framework for GoLang) to ensure high code quality and maintainable test suites.Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities, including penetration testing findings, authentication and authorization gaps, and encryption requirements.Build cloud-native services deployable on AWS (Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, SQS/SNS, etc.) with production-grade observability, monitoring, and alerting.Deliver high-quality, bug-free releases by adhering to code review best practices, secure coding guidelines, and performance optimization techniques.Collaborate with architecture, DevOps, QA, and product teams to ensure end-to-end delivery of scalable and reliable backend solutions.Required Skills & QualificationsStrong experience in GoLang and NestJS for backend development.Hands-on experience in microservices architecture, RESTful/gRPC API design, and middleware services.Expertise in AWS services: Lambda, EKS, API Gateway, SQS, SNS, CloudWatch, and related tools.Solid understanding of TDD, clean code practices, and unit testing frameworks (Jest, Go test).Strong knowledge of security best practices in web applications, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.Experience with CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and production deployment strategies.Skills: microservices, aws, nestjs, golang#J-18808-Ljbffr
