Security Assurance Industry Specialist , MENAT Compliance & Security Assurance Team

We are looking for a cybersecurity professional with security assurance and compliance experience to support AWSs cybersecurity initiatives in the MENAT region. This role will focus on helping customers securely adopt cloud services while meeting regulated industries requirements and regulations.Key QualificationsStrong ability to analyze technical and regulatory requirementsProven track record of meeting goals in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple prioritiesClear written and verbal communication skills with both technical and nontechnical audiencesExperience contributing to projects through completion and delivering on scheduleStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsThis position will require regional and international travelResponsibilitiesAnalyze and document regulatory requirements:Collaborating with internal teams to interpret cybersecurity policies and regulationsHelping prepare responses to regulatory inquiriesSupporting the development of compliance artifactsMaintaining technical documentation and regulatory trackingContribute to compliance programs for regulated industries:Gathering and organizing evidence for compliance requirementsSupporting security assessments and auditsHelping maintain documentation of security controls and processesWorking with service teams to validate security implementationsSupport customers and partners:Providing guidance on security requirements for cloud adoptionDelivering security awareness presentationsContributing to security best practices documentationHelping assess security configurations and controlsWork closely with internal AWS teams to:Support security initiatives and projectsHelp maintain relationships with regulatory stakeholdersAssist in tracking and reporting compliance statusDocument security and compliance findingsParticipate in industry engagements and prepare regular status updates on security and compliance activities for leadership review.A day in the lifeAs a Security Assurance Specialist your day involves collaborating with AWS teams across the MENAT region to support security and compliance initiatives. You’ll help gather and document compliance evidence, assist in preparing materials for regulatory engagements and support the analysis of security requirements. Working alongside experienced team members you’ll contribute to security assessments, help maintain compliance tracking tools and assist in coordinating responses to regulatory queries.
