This diverse and talented team enables us to deliver comprehensive and integrated solutions across the region.DescriptionThe Resident Engineer is responsible for managing the project's technical, contractual, and operational aspects on-site. This includes overseeing construction processes, ensuring compliance with design specifications and safety standards, coordinating with stakeholders, and addressing any issues that arise during the project's execution phase.Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities:Project Oversight: Manage the overall technical direction of the project, ensuring compliance with the project’s objectives, scope, and budget.Construction Management: Oversee the execution of construction activities, providing guidance to contractors, and ensuring adherence to approved plans, schedules, and safety standards.Contract Administration: Handle contract-related matters, including reviewing documents, processing change orders, and resolving claims or disputes.Scope & Schedule Management: Monitor and manage project scope changes and delays, ensuring the project stays on track and within budget.Document Control: Review and approve critical project documents including construction drawings, method statements, inspection/test plans, and as-built drawings.Liaison & Coordination: Act as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, and other stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication and coordination.Safety & Quality Assurance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with quality standards and safety regulations.Reporting: Prepare and submit regular progress reports, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and any potential risks to project timelines.Problem Solving: Address technical, logistical, or regulatory issues as they arise and take action to mitigate delays or risks.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.Experience: Minimum Fifteen (15) years of experience in civil construction or project management.Skills:Strong leadership and decision‑making skills.Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem‑solving abilities.#J-18808-Ljbffr
