Job Description

Execute day-to-day quantity calculations based on the qualitative input provided by project surveyors.Prepare weekly and monthly quantities and measurements, and consolidate the data into reports for the Senior Quantity Surveyor.Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.Assist in rate analysis and tender pricing.Undertake cost analysis for repair, maintenance, and commercial projects.Perform quantity take-offs based on contract drawings and specifications.Identify opportunities for cost reduction.Identify, analyse, and develop responses to commercial risks.Assist in establishing client requirements and undertaking feasibility studies.Perform risk management, value engineering, and cost control activities.Prepare and analyse costings for tenders.Allocate work to subcontractors.Coordinate and negotiate contract variations.Provide advice on contractual claims.Analyse outcomes and prepare detailed progress reports.Value completed work and arrange payments.Maintain awareness of current building contracts and industry standards.Understand and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.Develop weekly and monthly progress reports, resource histograms, and S-curves.Inform the Senior Quantity Surveyor of requirements for quantity calculation instruments and equipment.Analyse actual production output versus planned output and report on project performance.Cooperate efficiently and constructively with chief surveyors, quantity surveyors, and the commercial department.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Law, Engineering, Business Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent.Minimum of 5 years of Quantity Surveying experience in related industries.#J-18808-Ljbffr
