Main ResponsibilitiesShareholder & FinancialSupport the development ofannual sustainability priorities , strategic agenda, and theESG strategic portfolio.Contribute to theSustainability teamas part of thegroup-wide hub/center of excellenceto enhance sustainability and improve external ESG performance forQNB Group.Assist in creatingannual sustainability-related Business Plans , including conductingresearch and benchmarking.Monitor and manage thesustainability budget, spending,andvendor relationshipsto ensure cost-effectiveness.ImplementKPIs and best practicesfor the role ofSenior Associate, Sustainability.Promotecost efficiency and productivity , minimizing waste and optimizing benefits for the bank.Act within the delegatedauthority limits.Customer (Internal & External)Support theSustainability teamin deliveringQNB Group’s agendaand managing project-related tasks.Serve as apoint of contactfor sustainability initiatives withinQNB Group.Act as acoordinator and quality reviewerforESG communications, reporting, and disclosuresto enhance external ESG performance.Represent QNB Group as anambassador for sustainabilityand the enhancement of ESG performance.Maintain strong relationships withinternal stakeholdersand selectedexternal partners(e.g., consultants, service providers).Assist in thedelivery and publicationof thegroup-wide annual ESG reportand ensure alignment of ESG reports across subsidiaries.Participate inindividual projects and deliverablesto support sustainability objectives.Foster relationships withHead Office divisions, international networks,andsubsidiariesto facilitate the effective delivery of thegroup-wide sustainability agenda.Internal (Processes, Products, Regulatory)Support developments inQNB’s Sustainability Policy , relatedframeworks , andstandardsin sustainable finance and operations.Participate in the process ofcoordinating, tracking, and analyzing sustainability datato meet international reporting standards.Contribute to identifying and developingmaterial ESG topicsfor the bank.Maintain awareness and support compliance withESG-related regulatory requirementsacross jurisdictions.Learning & KnowledgePromoteQNB Group’s Sustainability approachandESG performance , participating intraining on ESG-related topics.Assist in theonboarding of junior team membersand supportSVP/VPin identifying professional development needs.Conduct research onindustry best practices, trends,andpeer benchmarkingto stay updated on market developments.Build expertise inbanking processes, regulations,and industryoperating practices.Research and benchmarksustainability initiatives, techniques, tools, methodologies,andbest practices.Complete allmandatory training and seminarsto maintain required competence levels.Legal, Regulatory, and Risk Framework ResponsibilitiesAdhere to alllegal, regulatory,andinternal compliance requirements , including Group Compliance Policies (e.g.,AML & CTF, Sanctions Policy, Data Protection, Fraud Control, Whistle Blowing, Conflict of Interest, Insider Dealing ).Understand and perform your role according to theThree Lines of Defenceprinciple toidentify, measure, monitor, manage,andreport risks.Ensure positive outcomes for clients in line withConduct Risk policies.Support frameworks forRCSA, KRI, Incident Reporting,andremediationin compliance withOperational Risk Managementrequirements.Maintain the necessaryknowledge and qualificationsto perform the role effectively.Attend allmandatory training sessionsandseminarsas directed by the bank.Other ResponsibilitiesEnsuredata protection and confidentialityof sensitive business information.Maintain strictconfidentialityof customer and internal bank information, sharing it only withSenior Management, Audit, Compliance,andRegulatorsas required.Upholdprofessional standardsto maintainQNB’s reputationand strengthen its market leadership.Perform additionalad hoc dutiesas required by management.Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor’s degreefrom atop-tier university , preferably inBusiness Administration, Science, Sustainability Studies,orFinance.Minimum of2 years of experienceforQatari graduates.Strong awareness, interest, or knowledge ofSustainability topics, trends, practices,andprinciples.Proven ability towork effectively in a team , demonstrated throughwork experience, university projects,orassignments.Demonstrated ability todeliver tasks and objectiveseffectively.
