QHSE MANAGER

We are looking for an experienced QHSE Manager to join the growing team at Seagull Maritime Group.This role will take operational responsibility of the company’s Quality and Occupational Health & Safety management systems, ensuring the effective day-to‑day operation of ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 processes across the organisation.The position works closely with the Compliance Director, who maintains strategic oversight, while the QHSE Manager ensures that systems, audits, and safety processes are effectively implemented across the group.This is an excellent opportunity to join a dynamic offshore maritime company and play a key role in strengthening compliance, safety, and operational performance.Key ResponsibilitiesManagement Systems OwnershipMaintaining policies, procedures and documentationCoordinating updates to procedures and operational guidanceInternal Audits Programme ManagementWriting audit reportsTracking corrective actionsVerifying closure of audit findingsThe QHSE Manager will be the primary internal auditor for ISO 9001 and ISO 45001 systems.Non-Conformance & Corrective Action ManagementOwn the organisation’s corrective action system, including:Managing non‑conformance reportsTracking corrective actionsSupporting root cause investigationsMonitoring closure of actionsReporting trends and systemic issuesHealth & Safety OversightManage the day‑to‑day occupational health and safety programme including:Maintaining the risk registerSupporting operational safety planningManaging incident and near‑miss reportingLeading incident investigations where requiredMonitoring safety performance indicatorsCompliance AdministrationMaintain the operational compliance infrastructure including:Legal registersExternal standards registerTraining recordsCompliance trackersOperational SupportSupport operational teams by providing:Safety adviceMethod statement reviewContinuous improvement recommendationsAudit & Certification SupportSupport external audits and certification processes including:Preparing audit documentationManaging responses to audit findingsSupporting surveillance and recertification auditsAttend certification audits to support the Group Compliance DirectorReporting & Performance MonitoringPrepare and maintain QHSE reporting including:Management system performance reportsAudit summariesCorrective action trackingKPI monitoringThese reports will support management review and strategic decision‑making.RequirementsStrong knowledge of ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemsStrong knowledge of ISO 4501 Occupational Health & Safety SystemsExperience conducting internal auditsExperience managing non‑conformances and corrective actionsStrong documentation and reporting skillsAbility to work independently and manage compliance processesExperience inMaritimeShippingOffshoreOil & GasSecurity operationsQualifications (Preferred)Health & Safety qualificationISO 9001 Internal or Lead AuditorISO 4501 Internal or Lead AuditorThe role offers exposure toISO 18788 Security Operations ManagementISO 28007 Maritime Security CertificationEnvironmental and sustainability management systemsWhy Join Us?This role offers the opportunity to directly influence safety, quality, and compliance across an international maritime organisation.We offer a competitive salary, professional development opportunities, and the chance to work with a dynamic and growing offshore maritime group.Apply directly or send your CV to:joan@seagullsecurity.com#J-18808-Ljbffr
