QAQC Engineer Civil

We are looking for a QA/QC Engineer to ensure compliance with quality standards across civil construction activities.</p><h3>Role Description</h3><ul><li>The QA/QC Engineer is responsible for overseeing QC functions for the project including planning of quality control inspections, material inspections, preparation of reports and assisting the QA/QC Manager in ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.</li><li>Ensure that construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications and quality plans.</li><li>Support implementation and monitoring of Project Quality Plan across site activities.</li></ul><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Monitor, supervise and inspect ongoing construction activities at site to ensure that the work is being performed in accordance with IFC, shop drawings and specifications.</li><li>Inspect and approve incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual and measurement tests, and rejecting unacceptable materials.</li><li>Develop and implement Project Quality Plan (PQP) and procedures for construction projects.</li><li>Coordinate WIR/MIR with Site Engineers, verify documents and inspect activities using checklists prior to consultant inspection.</li><li>Witness all trial mixes of concrete mix design as per standards and specifications.</li><li>Manage and witness field and laboratory tests as per required standards and track logs for sampling and testing.</li><li>Prepare action plans for closing open NCRs and ensure implementation at site.</li><li>Review ITPs and monitor daily field construction operations to ensure compliance with approved project drawings and quality plans.</li><li>Arrange approved third-party testing as required and monitor testing reports.</li><li>Issue Internal NCR/SOR quality observations as per standards, codes and specifications.</li><li>Conduct workshops, trainings and internal audits to promote a culture of quality within the organization.</li><li>Maintain reports of on-site tests and inspections in approved formats.</li><li>Verify test certificates and inspection reports from suppliers and testing agencies.</li><li>Maintain records of material inspections including conforming and non-conforming status.</li><li>Assist with snagging, de-snagging, final inspections and project close-out documentation.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
