QA/QC - Painting / Surface Protection - Qatar

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced QC Inspector - Painting to ensure quality control of blasting and painting works for Oil & Gas projects. The candidate must have strong technical knowledge of coating systems and hold BGAS Level 2 certification.Key ResponsibilitiesInspect surface preparation activities (blasting, cleaning, profiling)Verify coating application as per project specificationsMonitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, DFT, etc.)Conduct inspections and testing as per approved ITPPrepare and review inspection reports and documentationEnsure compliance with client standards and international codesCoordinate with site team and client representativesIdentify non-conformities and recommend corrective actionsMaintain QA/QC records and documentationEnsure strict adherence to HSE standardsRequirementsQualification: B.E / B.Tech (Mechanical) - MandatoryExperience: 15-18 years in Painting (Oil & Gas sector mandatory)Certification: BGAS Level 2 (Mandatory)Strong knowledge of blasting, coating systems, and inspection proceduresFamiliar with international standards (ISO, SSPC, NACE, BGAS)Experience in DFT measurement, surface profile testing, and holiday testingAbility to interpret project specifications and ITPsGood documentation and reporting skillsSalary & BenefitsSalary: QAR 5,000 - 6,000Benefits: Accommodation & Transportation provided by Company#J-18808-Ljbffr
