We work at the intersection of<b>policy, data, and technology</b>, building products that don’t just inform decisions, but improve lives.</p><p>If you’re motivated by impact and purpose - Whiteshield is for you.</p><h3>WHAT YOU’LL OWN</h3><p>• Develop, maintain, and execute test cases for functional, regression, integration, UAT, and automation testing.</p><p>• Perform thorough manual and automation testing on web applications covering UI, functional, responsiveness, and end-to-end scenarios.</p><p>• Contribute towards designing, implementing and maintaining automation scripts for regression and smoke testing using industry-standard tools (e.g., Selenium, Playwright).</p><p>• Document test results, report bugs, and track them to closure using JIRA.</p><p>• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to clarify requirements, identify edge cases, and ensure optimal test coverage.</p><p>• Contribute to test planning, estimation, and execution in alignment with Agile/Scrum workflows.</p><p>• Participate in release validation, post-release testing, and continuous integration pipelines.</p><h3>WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR</h3><h3>Core Testing Skills</h3><ul><li>Understanding of SDLC&STLC (Software Development&Testing Life Cycle)</li><li>Ability to design test cases&test scenarios</li><li>Strong test execution discipline (follow steps, document results clearly)</li></ul><h3>Knowledge of testing types:</h3><ul><li>Functional testing</li><li>Regression testing</li><li>Smoke&sanity testing</li><li>UAT (User Acceptance Testing)</li><li>Ability to think in edge cases (break the system, not just follow happy paths)</li></ul><h3>Analytical&Problem‑Solving Skills</h3><ul><li>Strong attention to detail (spot subtle UI or logic issues)</li><li>Ability to reproduce bugs consistently</li><li>Root cause thinking (not just what broke, but why)</li><li>Logical thinking to validate workflows and business rules</li></ul><h3>Test Design&Documentation</h3><ul><li>Writing clear, structured test cases</li><li>Creating test plans and test strategies</li><li>Understanding of acceptance criteria</li><li>Ability to prioritize testing based on risk/impact</li></ul><h3>Tools&Technical Awareness</h3><ul><li>Familiarity with tools like Jira / Azure DevOps (bug tracking)</li><li>Basic knowledge of Browser dev tools (inspect, network calls), logs and how to read them</li></ul><h3>Communication Skills</h3><ul><li>Writing clear bug reports (steps, expected vs actual, screenshots)</li><li>Ability to work with developers and PMs</li><li>Explaining issues in a non‑technical and technical way</li><li>Asking good clarification questions</li></ul><h3>Product&User Mindset</h3><ul><li>Thinking like an end user</li><li>Understanding business requirements</li><li>Ability to validate user journeys, not just features</li><li>Sensitivity to UX issues (confusing flows, poor design)</li></ul><h3>Process&Collaboration</h3><ul><li>Working in Agile/Scrum environments</li><li>Participating in: standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, managing test cycles and deadlines</li></ul><h3>Meaningful impact</h3><p>Your work helps shape products used at national scale - enabling people to access services, opportunities, and support that make a real difference in everyday lives.</p><h3>Creative freedom</h3><p>You will have room to explore ideas, test approaches, and raise the bar for design quality - even in complex, regulated environments.
