We are looking for purchasers for one of our clients.ResponsibilitiesShould have knowledge of industrial chemicals and packaging material.Should have connections with raw material suppliers.Sourcing suppliers based on price, availability, necessity, quality and logistical expenses.Assessing vendors and their offerings with in-person visits, interviews and analysis to assess their quality.Collaborating with various internal departments to ensure that they fulfill all customer requests.Developing strategies to source raw materials that are cost-effective while maintaining product quality and safety standards.Working with suppliers to ensure that they have adequate supplies of raw materials to meet production schedules.Negotiating sale agreements and supply contracts in ways that benefit their company.Coordinating with shipping agencies and sellers to ensure timely deliveries and oversee the integrity and quality of delivered goods and services.Authorizing payments and managing purchasing expenses with record‑keeping and data tracking.Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure fair pricing terms.Reviewing bids from suppliers to determine which supplier offers the best price and quality of product.Ordering raw materials as needed to maintain adequate inventory levels.#J-18808-Ljbffr
