OverviewJob Description – Pump TechnicianPosition: Pump TechnicianNumber of Openings: 2Location: Dubai, UAEExperience Required: 3 to 8 YearsAge Limit: Below 40 YearsQualification: 10th / +2 / ITIResponsibilitiesInstall, dismantle, overhaul, and repair centrifugal, reciprocating, and rotary pumps.Perform routine preventive and corrective maintenance on pumps and associated equipment.Diagnose pump failures, vibration issues, leakage, seal problems, and bearing failures.Carry out alignment of pumps and motors using dial gauge or laser alignment tools.Inspect mechanical seals, packing systems, shafts, impellers, casings, and couplings.Conduct performance testing and ensure pumps operate within specified parameters.Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and pump datasheets.Ensure compliance with Oil & Gas safety standards, permit systems, and site procedures.Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and job cards accurately.Coordinate with supervisors, engineers, and other technicians to meet maintenance schedules.Essential Qualifications3 to 8 years of hands-on experience as a Pump Technician in Oil & Gas or heavy industrial environments.Technical qualification such as ITI (Mechanical / Fitter / Pump Mechanic) preferred.Strong knowledge of industrial pump systems and rotating equipment.Experience working in shutdowns, turnarounds, or plant maintenance is an advantage.Skills RequiredStrong troubleshooting and mechanical problem-solving skills.Knowledge of mechanical seals, bearings, lubrication systems, and pump hydraulics.Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision.Familiarity with safety practices, LOTO procedures, and risk assessments.Good physical fitness and ability to work in industrial environments.Basic communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi/Tamil is an advantage.#J-18808-Ljbffr
