We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to oversee the end‑to‑end execution of industrial fire protection projects, ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and client satisfaction. This is a key role interfacing with engineering, procurement, and client stakeholders to deliver solutions across the Construction sector and beyond.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Lead the full project lifecycle for Fire Protection Systems, from initial planning through to commissioning and handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.</li><li>Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets aligned with client requirements and regulatory standards.</li><li>Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams, including engineering, procurement, and site installation personnel.</li><li>Manage project risks, identify and mitigate issues, and proactively resolve technical or logistical challenges as they arise.</li><li>Maintain close communication with clients, providing regular project updates, progress reporting, and managing change requests where required.</li><li>Ensure all necessary documentation, permits, and certifications are obtained, maintained, and reviewed as required for project execution.</li><li>Liaise effectively with suppliers and subcontractors to manage quality, delivery schedules, and overall project performance.</li></ul><h3>Required Skills</h3><ul><li>Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects, ideally within Fire Protection, Construction, or industrial safety systems.</li><li>Strong knowledge of Fire Detection, Suppression, Alarm and Emergency Shutdown systems and their application in high‑hazard environments.</li><li>Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools and software (e.g. MS Project, Primavera or similar).</li><li>Ability to interpret technical documentation including P&IDs, equipment layouts and sector‑specific engineering standards.</li><li>Sound risk management and problem‑solving skills, with a focus on safety, compliance and operational excellence.</li></ul><h3>Key Competencies</h3><ul><li>Proven leadership skills, capable of motivating teams and driving accountability in a fast‑paced project environment.</li><li>Strong customer‑focused mindset and relationship‑building skills with internal and external partners.</li><li>Excellent organisational, communication and negotiation abilities, adaptable to various audiences.</li><li>Analytical approach with an eye for process improvements, ensuring continual enhancement of safety and delivery standards.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Experience</h3><ul><li>Degree or recognised qualification in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Fire Protection), Project Management or a related discipline preferred.</li><li>Proven experience delivering Fire Protection or similar engineering projects for critical infrastructure or the Construction sector.</li><li>Highly proficient in MS Office, project management software and common business communication tools.</li><li>Recognised project management certification (e.g. PRINCE2, PMP) is desirable but not essential.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
