We are looking for Project Engineer - Automation to provide technical support to customers and join our team! A successful candidate must develop a technical proposal and estimation sheet for SPS solution (LSS/GCS/Microgrid/RAS), capable of read and understand the RFQ and Tender documents, well familiar with GCS coding, Microgrid controller and RAS coding, Master in Codsys/IEC61131, able to mentor the automation engineers to continue develop their skills in coding and design documents, lead and preform the GCS Project pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities and must hold excellent knowledge to execute all SPS project. This is your chance to build your career with a global leader and innovator in the power protection industry.</p></br><h3>As a Project Engineer - Automation a typical day might include the following:</h3></br><p>Possessing, understanding, and applying the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of power system automation and related SEL products</p></br><p>Training and assisting customers with the creation, design, configuration, validation, installation, commissioning, and operation of automation systems</p></br><p>Prepare and maintain detailed design documents, reports, checklists, test reports, and deliverables</p></br><p>Participate in the preparation of functional design specifications</p></br><p>Lead in assigning, completing, and implementing work within agreed upon scope, schedule and budget to a high level of quality and safety</p></br><h3>This job might be for you if:</h3></br><ul></br><li>Possess a B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline</li></br><li>Have an interest in electric power systems and protective relay applications</li></br><li>Are open to travel both domestically and internationally at least 40%</li></br><li>Want to gain experience with power transmission, distribution, or generation systems</li></br><li>Are interested in expanding your knowledge by learning new skills and assuming new responsibilities to grow into the role of an independent engineer</li></br><li>Enjoy working cooperatively in a team environment</li></br></ul></br><h3>Location</h3></br><p>Khobar - Saudi Arabia</p></br><h3>Why SEL?</h3></br><p><b>Competitive pay.
