Project Engineer (Civil & Concrete)

As a Project Engineer (Civil & Concrete) you can play an important role in the realization of leading and often complex projects for the Infra Business Line from your civil/concrete addition to complex projects we also carry out less complex works where as a project engineer you are the spider in the web between design work preparation procurement and realisation on several projects and/or tenders.As a project engineer you and the team are responsible for preparing and supervising (complex) multidisciplinary tenders and projects within the Infra Business Line. The Infra Business Line realizes the projects of Boskalis Nederland within the dry Infrastructure. We do this as an integrated contractor based on cooperation expertise and one wallet. As a project engineer you will work in a multidisciplinary team with specialists in the field of road construction and civil concrete construction. Based on your knowledge and experience you are the teams source of information and support for substantive issues.Your Responsibilities as a Project Engineer (Civil & Concrete) are:Assessing the work of colleagues subcontractors and customers so that tenders projects and designs are carried out in accordance with the requirements.Making work plans and inspection plans.Setting up planning in collaboration with the implementation.Coordinating the procurement of materials and subcontracting.Responsible for the delivery file and its management.Cost control with regard to suppliers and subcontractors.Convincing customers and internal stakeholders of the feasibility and safety of the solution/method offered and the associated specifications.Reporting and providing support to the (integral) project manager.Your qualities:Bachelors degrees in civil engineering.3-5 years of relevant work experience including experience with relevant working methods techniques and professional software and models.Relevant experience with project management and good command of English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Dutch is an asset.Advanced knowledge of ICT office and planning applications with basic knowledge of drawing applications.In the role of Project Engineer you dont work on the least projects.
