You will develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize purchasing activities and achieve cost savings while meeting quality and delivery standards. If you have a strong background in procurement and a passion for maximizing processes, we’d love to hear from you!Purchasing Manager Responsibilities:Supervises the daily activities of the purchasing function. Manage the purchase order process, ensuring accurate and timely purchase order creation, issuance, and tracking.Develop and implement procurement strategies and policies to optimize purchasing activities and achieve cost savings, optimizing air and sea shipment while meeting quality and delivery requirements.Collaborate with internal departments/brand managers to understand the purchasing needs, forecast demand, and develop procurement plans accordingly.Identify and evaluate potential 3rd party suppliers and vendors based on price, quality, reliability, and delivery performance.Monitor and analyze supplier performance, and product specifications to identify opportunities of streamlining process improvements including disputes, quality concerns, delivery delays, and payment discrepancies.Monitor market trends to make informed purchasing decisions and mitigate supply chain risk.Oversee the vendor relationship management helping to maintain healthy and trusting relationships between the vendor and the company and ensuring compliance with organizational policies and standards.Supervise inventory management, ensuring adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory and carrying cost.Ensure compliance with all standards, legal and regulatory requirements related to purchasing and procurement.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout the procurement process.Foster a culture of professionalism among Colleagues in the team.
