Procurement Engineer

<div><p>We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer with extensive experience in international procurement practices. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Electrical and be adept at managing services contracts considering tax and legal implications. This role requires an analytical mindset and a proactive approach to sourcing and vendor management.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives and electro-mechanical requirements.</li><li>Manage the entire procurement process, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract execution and performance monitoring.</li><li>Ensure compliance with international procurement standards and Incoterms.</li><li>Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement activities.</li><li>Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contracts are compliant with applicable taxes and legal regulations.</li><li>Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.</li><li>Provide technical guidance on the specifications of electro-mechanical components and systems.</li><li>Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and resolve any procurement-related issues.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline</li><li>Minimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within a technical field, preferably in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.</li><li>Strong knowledge of international procurement practices and Incoterms.</li><li>Experienced in drafting and managing service contracts, with a solid understanding of tax and legal implications.</li><li>Excellent negotiation and communication skills.</li><li>Proficient in ERP and procurement software.</li></ul><h3>Why Join Alfanar Projects</h3><p>Since 1976, we’ve grown and diversified our business to meet the evolving needs of a changing world.
