Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Engineer with extensive experience in international procurement practices. The ideal candidate will have a robust understanding of Electrical and be adept at managing services contracts considering tax and legal implications. This role requires an analytical mindset and a proactive approach to sourcing and vendor management.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company’s objectives and electro-mechanical requirements.Manage the entire procurement process, from vendor selection and negotiation to contract execution and performance monitoring.Ensure compliance with international procurement standards and Incoterms.Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement activities.Collaborate with the legal department to ensure contracts are compliant with applicable taxes and legal regulations.Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data.Provide technical guidance on the specifications of electro-mechanical components and systems.Lead cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and resolve any procurement-related issues.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in any engineering disciplineMinimum of 5 years’ experience in procurement within a technical field, preferably in Electrical/Mechanical engineering.Strong knowledge of international procurement practices and Incoterms.Experienced in drafting and managing service contracts, with a solid understanding of tax and legal implications.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Proficient in ERP and procurement software.Why Join Alfanar ProjectsSince 1976, we’ve grown and diversified our business to meet the evolving needs of a changing world.
