Private Banker

<div><p>As a senior private banker, you will be responsible for acquiring, advising, and growing ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) and high-net-worth (HNW) clients from the Middle East.<b>Based in Dubai</b>, you will serve as a trusted advisor to wealthy families, entrepreneurs, royals, and family offices, delivering holistic wealth management solutions while ensuring long-term relationship value. At ED/MD level, you are expected to lead business origination, mentor junior bankers, and represent the Middle East market within the firm’s senior leadership.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities</h3><h3>Client Acquisition&Relationship Management</h3><ul><li>Build and manage a portfolio of UHNW/HNW clients and family offices from the Middle East.</li><li>Act as a trusted advisor, providing bespoke wealth management, investment, lending, and wealth planning solutions.</li><li>Develop deep, multi-generational relationships with client families.</li><li>Deliver tailored portfolio strategies, discretionary mandates, and alternative investment opportunities.</li><li>Provide guidance on succession planning, tax and estate structuring (in partnership with specialists).</li><li>Coordinate cross-border solutions, leveraging Dubai as a premier hub for Middle East wealth and global connectivity.</li></ul><h3>Business Growth&Leadership</h3><ul><li>Drive revenue growth and profitability in the Middle East private banking business.</li><li>Lead origination initiatives, represent the Middle East in senior management forums, and contribute to overall strategy.</li><li>Mentor and develop junior relationship managers and assistants.</li></ul><h3>Governance&Compliance</h3><ul><li>Ensure adherence to UAE, local, and international regulatory standards (including DFSA/CBUAE where applicable).</li><li>Maintain the highest standards of risk management, ethics, and fiduciary duty.</li><li>Act as a senior escalation point for client or compliance matters.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications&Experience</h3><ul><li>12–15+ years of experience in private banking/wealth management with a focus on Middle East clients.</li><li>Proven track record of business origination and management of UHNW/HNW client portfolios.</li><li>In-depth understanding of wealth management products, investment solutions, and family governance structures.</li><li>Excellent cross-cultural communication and relationship skills.</li><li>Fluency in Arabic and English; French or other regional languages a plus.</li></ul><p>If you are interested in discussing this position in more detail please reach out to Luke Ottley (luke.ottley@ateca.co.uk) to arrange a call.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
