Today, we're driving the energy transition with more than 30,000 of the brightest minds across 54 countries.Job DescriptionJob Overview:The Principal Fabrication Operations Specialist is responsible for interpreting internal or external business issues and recommending best practices. They will be tasked with solving complex operations-related problems and will work independently with minimal guidance. The Principal Fabrication Operations Specialist may be responsible for leading functional teams or projects and is regarded as a specialist in the field of operations. As such, they must have in-depth expertise in operations as well as broad knowledge of the operations discipline within the fabrication function.ResponsibilitiesKey Tasks and Responsibilities:Manage and liaise between Fabrication, IT, and other functional groups for various systems, such as ERP, PLM, Inventory Management, Digital Twin, etc.Evaluate systems needs both technically and economically by location to provide optimum solutionsManage Capex requests for new technology as well as software requirements and IT infrastructure for automation and robotic improvements to Fabrication ProcessesManage and report on DOE alignment and standardization within the Fabrication functionManage Innovation Team for Fabrication initiatives regarding technology and digitizationGather Data and Analytics through various sources and develop and maintain a KPI database for Fabrication FunctionDevelop initiatives to improve efficiency and/or reduce costs through standardization, simplification, consolidation, or other meansProvide regular status reports to Global Fabrication Management as requiredResource tracking and headcount controlCreate reports and presentations on initiatives and functional projectsQualificationsEssential Qualifications and Education:Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or related technical field (MBA a plus)Minimum of 10 years of experience in fabrication operations within the EPCI industry, with a strong focus on oil and gas projectsExcellent leadership and communication skills, capable of effectively leading a diverse team and collaborating with internal and external stakeholdersDemonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the capability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environmentStrong knowledge of applicable codes, standards, and regulations related to fabrication and construction activitiesFamiliarity with industry-specific software and technologies, such as 3D modeling, ERP systems, and digital twin platformsProficiency in Microsoft Office, focus on Excel and PPTAbility to deliver results and manage a multi-regional and multi-disciplinary team of individuals#J-18808-Ljbffr
