Port Captain - Shore Based Position

<div><h3>Role Description</h3><p>We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Port Captain for a full-time, on-site role in Saudi Arabia. The Port Captain will oversee daily marine and vessel operations, ensuring maximum efficiency and compliance with international and company standards. Responsibilities include inspecting vessels, ensuring proper maintenance and performance, managing maritime operations, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth port activities. The candidate will play a key role in maintaining operational excellence and solving any issues related to port and marine operations.</p><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>Must have at least four (4) years of experience as Master on the assigned vessel type (Non-DP Crew Boats / Offshore Security Patrol Boats). The Port Captain must be qualified to serve as temporary Master at any time and will undergo Saudi Aramco evaluation accordingly.</li><li>Certificate of Competency with Proof of Verification</li><li>Certificate of Competency Endorsement</li><li>GMDSS Certificate</li><li>All STCW Certificates (including Medical Care)</li><li>Bridge Resource Management</li><li>Passport (Must be Valid At Least 06 Months)</li><li>Seaman Book with All Sea time Entries (Must be Valid for At Least 06 Months)</li><li>Marlins Test (Minimum 80% Marks) with Online Verification Proof</li><li>Medical Fitness (Must be Valid for At Least 03 Months)</li><li>H2S Familiarization Course</li><li>Previous Saudi Aramco Approvals as Master/Port Captain Crew/Patrol Boat</li><li>BOSIET</li><li>HUET</li><li>Strong background in Marine Operations and Maritime expertise, including knowledge of regulations and industry standards</li><li>Skills in Vessel Operations and Management, including coordination, logistical oversight, and ensuring efficiency in daily activities</li><li>Experience in conducting Vessel Inspections and maintaining safety, compliance, and operational standards</li><li>Ability to oversee vessel performance, manage crewing, and address technical and operational challenges</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills to effectively oversee teams and liaise with stakeholders</li><li>Bachelor's degree in Maritime Studies, Naval Architecture, or related field</li><li>Previous experience in the shipping, logistics, or maritime industry is highly desirable</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
