Planning Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to support project delivery by developing and maintaining reliable baseline schedules and preparing accurate progress reports for theming and fit-out construction projects.In this role, you will work closely with design, procurement, site teams, and subcontractors to effectively control timelines, optimize resource planning, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule and to the highest standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop baseline and detailed schedules for theming and fit out packages using Primavera P6 and MS ProjectMaintain schedule updates weekly and monthly including actuals remaining durations and logic tiesCoordinate with site teams, design, procurement, and subcontractors to validate progress and constraintsProduce lookahead plans and support workface readiness by tracking approvals materials access and dependenciesMonitor critical path and near critical activities and propose mitigation and recovery actionsSupport resource planning and allocation by producing manpower and productivity views where requiredPrepare schedule narratives progress dashboards and management reports with clear variance explanationMaintain planning registers including schedule assumptions milestones constraints and key interfacesSupport coordination meetings by presenting schedule status risks and required decisionsPrepare and present the internal monthly progress update for executives including schedule status milestone forecast key risks constraints and recovery actionsMaintain VO and change log including full timeline and supporting references and integrate approved changes into the master schedule with proper logic updates impact tracking and revised forecasts and keep pending changes tracked for visibilityExperience RequirementsMinimum 5 to 8 years experience in planning and scheduling for theming and fit out construction projects using P6 and MS ProjectQualificationsDegree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related fieldRelevant certifications such as PMP or Primavera P6 certification are highly preferredSkills and CompetenciesStrong proficiency in Primavera P6 and MS ProjectStrong analytical capability and structured problem solvingExcellent communication skills and ability to coordinate across multiple teamsGood understanding of construction sequencing and fit out workflowsAble to work under pressure and maintain accurate reporting disciplineBaseline and updated project schedulesWeekly and monthly progress reports and schedule narrativesLookahead plans and constraint trackingCritical path and recovery analysis supportResource and productivity summaries when required#J-18808-Ljbffr
