Physical Education Coordinator

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Physical Education Coordinator who will oversee and manage the PE curriculum staff and extracurricular physical activities in our school. This position requires a dynamic leader passionate about fitness sports and holistic student development. The coordinator will ensure that all PE programs meet the highest standards of quality safety and student engagement while fostering teamwork and wellness throughout the school community.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise and support PE teachers ensuring consistency in teaching and program delivery.Develop implement and monitor a comprehensive PE curriculum that promotes fitness health education and skill development.Coordinate sports schedules tournaments inter-school events and extracurricular physical activities.Provide professional development and mentorship for PE teachers to enhance instructional quality.Oversee the maintenance and safety of sports facilities and equipment.Manage PE department budgets equipment procurement and resource allocation efficiently.Collaborate with school leadership teams to integrate physical education into the broader educational experience.Design assessment frameworks to measure student progress and physical development.Promote health wellness and active lifestyle initiatives within the school community.Act as liaison with external sports organizations coaches and vendors to create enriching experiences for students.Qualifications and SkillsMasters degree inPhysical Education or a related field.Minimum5 years of experiencein physical education teaching with at least2 years in a leadership or coordination role in UAE.Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple teams and sites.Knowledge of curriculum development event organization and student-centered teaching strategies.Excellent communication interpersonal and mentoring skills.First Aid and Coaching certifications are an advantage.Required Experience:IC Key Skills Experience Working With Students,Sports Coaching,Physical Education,Classroom Management,Behavior Management,Classroom Experience,Lesson Planning,Physiology Knowledge,Special Education,Special Needs,Teaching,Cordova Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
