This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about helping others and has excellent attention to detail.ResponsibilitiesGreet patients and explain the blood draw processVerify patient information and confirm the type of test orderedSterilize and prepare equipment, including needles, tourniquets, and gauzeIdentify the best vein for the blood draw and insert needle with precisionLabel and store blood samples correctlyMonitor patients during the process to ensure their safety and comfortFollow proper procedures for disposing of used needles and other sharpsKeep accurate records of patient information, including medical histories and test resultsCommunicate with laboratory staff to ensure timely delivery of samplesRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredCertification or training in phlebotomy preferredPrevious experience as a phlebotomist is a plus but not requiredExcellent communication skills, both verbal and writtenEmpathetic attitude towards patients of all ages and backgroundsGood organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to work efficiently under pressureKnowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and infection control protocolsWillingness to adhere to all safety standardsBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary of 1500$ per month along with other benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for career advancement.
