Job DescriptionTo preserve and enhance the visual elegance of Fairmont Ajman through expert painting, finishing, and decorative maintenance. The Painter ensures all guest rooms, public areas, recreation facilities, and back‑of‑house spaces reflect the immaculate presentation expected of a luxury Fairmont property. Through craftsmanship, precision, and a commitment to excellence, this role supports the hotel’s aesthetic standards and contributes to an exceptional guest environment.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform interior and exterior painting of guest rooms, public areas, back‑of‑house, and officesPrepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, filling cracks, and applying primersMix, match, and apply paints, varnishes, stains, and coatings as requiredCarry out touch‑ups and minor repairs to walls, ceilings, woodwork, and metal surfacesEnsure all work is completed as per brand standards and maintenance schedulesProtect furniture, fixtures, and floors during painting worksFollow health, safety, and environmental procedures at all timesMaintain tools, equipment, and painting materials in good conditionCoordinate with Engineering and other departments to minimize disruption to operationsReport any maintenance issues observed during work to the supervisorQualificationsMinimum 1–3 years of experience as a Painter (hotel or hospitality experience preferred)Basic knowledge of paints, coatings, tools, and surface preparation techniquesAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPhysically fit and able to work at heights when requiredBasic understanding of safety procedures and use of PPEAdditional InformationOur commitment to Diversity & Inclusion:We are an inclusive company, and our ambition is to attract, recruit and promote diverse talent.Diversity & Inclusion for Accor means welcoming each and everyone and respecting their differences by giving priority only to qualities and skills in extending employment and development opportunities.
