<div><h3>Job Description</h3><p>Handle all Government Relations activities such as Security Passes, Visas, Travel Cards, traffic issues etc. to ensure that all company transactions with government bodies are processed timely, efficiently and satisfactorily. Maintain contacts with government officials and arrange general management meetings for company business and smooth visits of such officials to company locations.</p><h3>Job Purpose</h3><p>Provide prompt and efficient documentation services to the company and employees to facilitate timely authorisation in accordance with legislative requirements.</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><h3>Job Specific Accountabilities</h3><ul><li>Liaise with Abu Dhabi Government Departments/Authorities and occasionally up to Director/Under Secretary level to seek cooperation, foster, and facilitate smooth running of company business and solve personnel problems.</li></ul><h3>Government Legal Processes Coordination</h3><ul><li>Keep abreast of changes to legal rules, processes and procedures related to various government departments to obtain approvals for authorities implementing relevant updates to the company and its documentation services.</li><li>Coordinate with relevant government authorities to inform the company of latest and important developments or changes in laws and regulations.</li></ul><h3>Documentation Services</h3><ul><li>Follow up documentation requirements for newly arrived and existing employees and authorised visitors; verify applications for issuance and renewal/cancellation of visas to ensure accuracy and availability of documents.</li><li>Arrange business visas with embassies.</li><li>Investigate and provide support in solving problems encountered at various stages of documentation processing to facilitate timely issue and renewal of employment and visit visas.</li><li>Monitor the centralized computer‑based documentation data of visas as required.</li><li>Ensure that security access passes and identity cards for all authorised personnel, company employees and contractors, and their dependents are processed in a timely manner.</li><li>Maintain contacts with Police Authorities up to Director level to follow up/solve company and personnel cases/problems.</li><li>Participate in coordinating follow‑up and ensuring obtaining HIV clearance certificates from the Health Authority for issuing and renewing visas for company staff.</li><li>Follow up issuance and renewal of Emirates ID for employees and their dependents to maintain validity.</li><li>Process payment of fees from petty cash for government officials/VIP visits and programmes.</li><li>Process documentation to obtain UAE visas for company operational sites, VIPs, and guests for missions and invitations.</li><li>Work with Government’s preventive medicine department in cases of death in expatriate families in UAE.</li></ul><h3>Minimum Qualification</h3><p>Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent qualification.</p><h3>Minimum Experience, Knowledge&Skills</h3><p>6 years of experience in documentation services within a large industrial organisation, preferably in the Oil and Gas sector.</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
