OSHA. Approved safety practitioner by local AuthorityMinimum 8 yrs. Exp and if in food manufacturing will be an advantage.LanguagesEnglish & Hindi: Business proficiency.Specific Knowledge and SkillsProfessional SkillsGood knowledge of OSHA Framework & requirementsPDCA problem solving & conflict managementMust be an independent, resourceful, and good team playerPlanning & Coordination with team membersAble to communicate with different cultures and nationalitiesLeadership skillsProblem solverGood knowledge of MS(Word/Excel)Good command of the English & Hindi languageFlexibility in working hoursRESPONSIBILITY AREASEstablish and ensure implantation of best safety practicesAdvise Management on all matters about safety and health including compliance with Occupational Health and safety Abu Dhabi (OSHAD).Ensure that all personnel have received appropriate safety and health training as stipulated in HSEAssist in Plan and implement safety and health programs and promotional activities (e.g. inspections, campaigns, and competitions) that will improve safety and healthMaintain a system of incident reporting, investigation. Analysis and risk assessment as stipulated in the Occupational Health and safety Abu Dhabi (OSHA) system framework.Assist in Conduct Safety Department Review at least once every quarter to review the achievementsof the Safety and Health Objectives and improvements to the HSE manual.Update the Safety and Health documents and follow-up on recommendations of safety committees and workgroup.Maintain relevant safety records, records, and certificates required under the OSHA framework & local Authority.Brief and instruct sub-contractors on the safety and health procedures and instructions that they and their employees are required to comply with.Monitor and maintain safety and health, prevent and fight fires, respond to accidents, and control environmental pollution.Assist to Define and Specify all PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) to be used at the factory-like clothing, Helmets, Goggles, Shoes, Gloves, Garments, etc; designed to protect the wearer's body from injury from accidents bearing in mind the Hygiene of the employee and the work atmosphere.Occupational Health & Safety program and budget management are involved at this level.Assist to Recommend changes in the procedures, policies, and related occupational health and safety documents#J-18808-Ljbffr
