Music Teacher

Job Summary: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Music Teacher to join our faculty. The Music Teacher will plan and deliver engaging lessons that cultivate students musical abilities appreciation for music and creative expression. This role involves teaching theory instrumental and/or vocal performance and organizing musical activities and performances. Key Responsibilities: Develop and deliver comprehensive music curriculum aligned with educational standards and school objectives. Teach students music theory history and performance skills (instrumental and/or vocal). Plan and lead rehearsals for choirs bands ensembles or orchestras as applicable. Prepare students for school concerts competitions recitals and other performances. Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback and support. Create a positive inclusive and inspiring classroom environment. Maintain and manage musical instruments and related equipment. Communicate regularly with parents/guardians about student progress. Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate music with other subjects or school events. Participate in faculty meetings training and professional development. Requirements: Bachelors degree in Music Education or related field (Masters preferred). Valid teaching certification/license (if required). Proven experience teaching music to students (specify age/grade if needed). Proficiency in at least one musical instrument or vocal performance. Strong knowledge of music theory history and pedagogy. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Creative enthusiastic and patient with a passion for inspiring students. Preferred Skills: Ability to teach multiple instruments or musical styles. Experience directing school bands choirs or orchestras. Familiarity with music technology and digital tools for instruction.
