Merchant Acquiring - Test Analyst

Responsible for testing and validating merchant acquiring systems, payment gateways, and transaction processing platforms to ensure accuracy, security, and compliance with banking and card scheme standards.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign and execute test cases for POS, online payments, settlements, refunds, and chargebacks.Validate transaction flows across acquiring host, payment networks, and merchant systems.Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT support testing.Verify compliance with payment standards (e.g., PCI-DSS, scheme rules).Identify, log, and track defects; coordinate with developers and business teams for resolution.Support certification testing with card schemes and third-party vendors.Analyze logs, transaction messages, and reconciliation reports for discrepancies.Required SkillsKnowledge of merchant acquiring lifecycle and payment processing.Understanding of ISO8583 or similar financial message formats.Experience with testing tools, SQL queries, and log analysis.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.Ability to work under tight deadlines in a banking/payments environment.#J-18808-Ljbffr
