Material Coordinator

<div><p>We are seeking a highly organized and detailoriented Material Coordinator to join our team in the oil and gas industry. In this role you will be responsible for managing and coordinating all materials and supplies needed for our operations in Dubai United Arab Emirates.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><p>Plan and coordinate the procurement of materials and supplies for oil and gas projects in Dubai UAE</p><p>Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites</p><p>Work closely with project managers and engineers to understand material requirements and ensure timely availability</p><p>Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing</p><p>Maintain accurate records of all materials including quantity location and cost</p><p>Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify any discrepancies</p><p>Coordinate with logistics team to arrange for transportation and delivery of materials</p><p>Ensure compliance with company and industry safety standards in handling and storing materials</p><p>Communicate any material shortages or delays to relevant stakeholders and develop contingency plans if needed</p><p>Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in material management processes and implement solutions</p><p>Provide regular reports on material usage costs and inventory levels to management</p><h3>Requirements:</h3><p>Bachelors degree in supply chain management logistics or a related field</p><p>2 years of experience in material coordination preferably in the oil and gas industry</p><p>Strong knowledge of procurement processes and supply chain management</p><p>Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills</p><p>Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management software</p><p>Strong communication and negotiation skills</p><p>Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines</p><p>Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures related to material handling</p><p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team</p><p>Willingness to travel to project sites as needed</p></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
