This role reports to the Director of Marketing.Position SummaryThe Marketing and Business Development Manager will support a variety of marketing and business development initiatives focused on elevating the firm’s brand within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The role will work directly with the Senior Regional Marketing & Business Development Manager and Director of Marketing & Client Management as an integral part of the firm’s marketing and business development team.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop relationships with attorneys to serve as point of contact for day‑to‑day requests and marketing and business development needs and understand the market, office initiatives and representations of key clients.Strategize with shareholders on responses to RFPs and proposals, including analyzing market research on prospect companies and business sectors, in coordination with practice and office professionals. Draft responses, coordinate research, and prepare presentations as necessary, managing the full cycle of the RFP process.Maintain database and other lists of panel appointments and related government RFP portals.Coordinate responses to marketing surveys, directories, and local and national nominations.Work with events and practice professionals to plan, organize and host client events including the preparation of conference/webinar materials. Manage all aspects of events including concept and agenda development with attorneys, invitation, coordination with venue, among other event duties. Evaluate return on investment before and after each event and closely manage budget.Support attorney on‑boarding and integration.Prepare welcome materials for new attorneys. Including working with lateral shareholders to help integrate them, including helping them prioritize which attorneys to meet internally.Coordinate the flow of information from attorneys to marketing professionals.Work with Senior Marketing & Business Development Manager to ensure content on website, biographies and other marketing systems is current and updated as appropriate.Work with individual shareholders and practice group leaders to develop, implement, and support business plans that align with the practice and firm strategic goals.Assist with and manage a variety of short and long‑term projects and attorney requests.QualificationsSkills & CompetenciesA self‑starter and team player, able to accept direction, yet work independently and take initiative.Meticulous attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple competing priorities.Ability to work in a fast‑growth, entrepreneurial environment.Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.Strong client‑first work ethic.Remain calm in the face of pressure.Ability to effectively interface with all levels of personnel within the organization.Education & Prior ExperienceBachelor’s degree required.Minimum of seven years relevant experience in marketing and business development at a law firm or other professional services firm, with proven experience responding to proposals and RFPs.Fluency in English and Arabic.TechnologyHigh level of proficiency using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Powerpoint).#J-18808-Ljbffr
