Market Surveillance Specialist (Trading Surveillance / Risk Control)Location: Malaysia or Abu DhabiExperience: 5–10 yearsOur client, a global trading platform in the digital assets space, is seeking a Market Surveillance Specialist to join its trading risk and surveillance team. The role focuses on monitoring trading activity, identifying abnormal market behavior, and supporting the integrity and stability of the trading environment.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor trading activity in real time to identify abnormal price movements, unusual trading patterns, and potential market manipulation.Investigate suspicious trading behaviors such as spoofing, wash trading, or pump-and-dump activity.Analyze trading patterns and account relationships to detect coordinated or manipulative activities.Conduct investigations into market risk events and suspicious trading activity.Prepare analysis reports summarizing findings, risk impact, and recommended actions.Work closely with internal teams to ensure timely response to trading-related risk incidents.Contribute to the development and improvement of trading surveillance rules and risk control frameworks.Collaborate with product and engineering teams to enhance monitoring tools and surveillance systems.Requirements5–10 years of experience in market surveillance, trading risk control, or trading compliance.Experience in financial markets such as securities, futures, FX, or cryptocurrency trading platforms.Strong understanding of trading behavior analysis and market manipulation patterns.Strong analytical skills with the ability to investigate complex trading activity.Experience using data analysis tools such as SQL, Python, or similar tools is a plus.Mandarin language proficiency is required.Ability to work in a fast-paced trading environment and respond quickly to risk events.PreferredExperience in digital asset or cryptocurrency trading environments.Familiarity with market surveillance systems or trading monitoring platforms.Relevant certifications such as FRM or similar risk-related qualifications are a plus.#J-18808-Ljbffr
