Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.About the Position:Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a strategic, well‑connected Manager, PR & Communications (India) to lead and own the resort’s public relations strategy for the India market as part of the Marketing Communications team.The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:Lead development and execution of the India PR strategy aligned with global brand positioning and commercial objectivesLocalize messaging to ensure cultural relevance while maintaining brand integrityIdentify white space opportunities to position the resort within the Indian luxury travel landscapeAlign PR strategy with paid media, social, and digital amplification effortsOversee PR strategy and execution across assigned secondary markets (TBC), ensuring alignment with global positioning while adapting to local cultural and media landscapes.Agency & Budget ManagementManage and direct Indian PR agency, ensuring strategic clarity and measurable outcomesOversee agency retainers, scopes of work, and performance accountabilityManage allocated PR budgets effectively and responsiblyMedia, Influencer & Celebrity RelationsBuild and maintain relationships with top-tier Indian media, influencers, celebrities and KOLsDevelop targeted media hosting and influencer strategiesSecure high-impact coverage in priority publications and platformsContent & Narrative DevelopmentLead development of India-targeted press materials and media assetsOversee translation and localization of global materialsEnsure narrative consistency across earned, owned, and shared channelsLaunch & Event CommunicationsOwn PR strategy and execution for India around key milestones including:Pre-opening announcementsOn-sale launchGrand OpeningBrand partnershipsLead Indian media invitations, hosting, and coverage planningCrisis & Reputation ManagementSupport development and execution of crisis communication strategies relevant to Indian marketsMonitor media sentiment and geopolitical developments impacting brand positioningProvide proactive risk assessments and mitigation recommendationsInternal & Stakeholder AlignmentPartner closely with Marketing, Sales, and OperationsSupport reporting to ownership and senior stakeholdersEnsure India activity aligns with broader commercial prioritiesPerformance MeasurementTrack and report on share of voice, sentiment, reach, and brand perception in IndiaReport media coverage for India, secondary markets, and selected business unitAbout You:The idea l candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:Professional working proficiency in EnglishNative or near-native fluency in Hindi preferred (written and spoken)Minimum 5–8 years’ PR experience within luxury, hospitality, travel, lifestyle, entertainment, or adjacent premium sectorsExperience in pre-opening or large-scale launch environments preferredThis role is ideal for someone who already holds established relationships with tier‑one Indian media, editors, influencers, celebrities, and luxury opinion leadersWe offer an attractive salary, paid in Dirhams (AED), the local currency of the UAE.
