This role will take ownership of balance sheet integrity, month-end reporting, and audit readiness across the business, within a growing multi-entity and multi-currency environment.To come on this journey with us, you will have a strong sense of ownership, be commercially minded, and take pride in producing accurate, well-controlled financial information. You will enjoy improving processes, bringing structure, and ensuring the business is always audit-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare accurate monthly management accounts to tight deadlines.Own and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring all accounts are fully supported, reviewed, and cleared in a timely manner.Investigate and resolve discrepancies, unusual balances, and reconciling items.Ensure the business is audit-ready at all times, with clear documentation and supporting schedules.Act as a key point of contact for auditors, responding to queries and providing evidence as required.Support month-end and year-end close processes, including journals, accruals, and prepayments.Review financial data for accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company policies.Work closely with AP, AR, payroll, and finance systems to ensure strong data integrity across all ledgers.Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and business decision support as required.Identify and implement improvements to processes, controls, and reporting.Personal Skills and ExperienceMinimum 5 years’ experience in management accounting or a similar role.Strong experience in balance sheet reconciliations, controls, and month-end close.Experience preparing for and supporting external audits.Excellent attention to detail with a strong control mindset.Confidence working in a multi-entity and multi-currency environment.Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong organisational and time management skills.Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.About YouAbility to flawlessly present and communicate in both written and verbal forms and be empathetic across different audiences and cultural sensitivities.Resilient, detailed, and creative.Be able to handle shifting demands.Self-motivated and resourceful.Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic company.#J-18808-Ljbffr
