Experience: Advanced (5-10 yrs).</p><h3>Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Own the MENA public affairs strategy and execution across 6+ countries (priorities, roadmaps, and stakeholder coverage).</li><li>Lead licensing and regulatory engagement: ride-hailing/TNC rules, driver requirements, safety/consumer protection, data privacy, local entity rules, and enforcement.</li><li>Multi-stakeholder engagement: developing relationships with NGOs, trade unions, and academia on ride-hailing issues.</li><li>Build and maintain senior relationships with regulators, ministries, and municipalities; manage taxi sensitivity and public narrative risks.</li><li>Run multi-market issue management and crisis response (crackdowns, competitor pressure, political shifts) with clear escalation and playbooks.</li><li>Translate policy into business actions with cross-functional teams; support launches, expansions, and market "fix" programs.</li><li>Lead, coach, and develop a 3–4 person regional team; manage external advisors where needed.</li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><ul><li>5–10+ years in Public Affairs / GR / regulatory policy (ideally in mobility, tech platforms, telecom, fintech, logistics, or other regulated sectors).</li><li>Proven multi-country ownership with measurable regulatory outcomes (licenses, reforms, enforcement stabilization).</li><li>Strong leadership experience (team management and/or complex cross-functional leadership).</li><li>Excellent judgment under pressure; strong written and verbal communication (briefings, memos, stakeholder packs).</li><li>Fluent English.</li></ul><h3>Good To Have</h3><ul><li>Arabic and/or French.</li><li>Direct experience with ride-hailing / gig economy topics (driver regulation, labor issues, pricing constraints, safety, consumer protection, data localization).</li><li>Existing MENA stakeholder network and experience operating in high-sensitivity environments.</li></ul><h3>Conditions&Benefits</h3><ul><li>Stable salary, official employment</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Hybrid work mode and flexible schedule</li><li>All the necessary work equipment</li><li>Diverse internal training programs</li><li>Partially or fully paid additional training courses</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
