OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Library & Archives Unit Head to lead the development and management of the museum’s library and archival collections, supporting research, curatorial work, and knowledge preservation within a world-class cultural institution.ResponsibilitiesLead the development and management of the museum’s library and archival collectionsOversee cataloguing, classification, and documentation in line with international standardsEnsure the preservation, conservation, and digitization of archival and library materialsProvide research support and information services to curatorial teams, scholars, and internal stakeholdersDevelop and implement policies, procedures, and best practices for archives and library managementManage collection development, acquisitions, and partnerships with research institutionsRequirementsProven experience in library science, archives management, or information studiesBachelor's degree in Records Management & Archival Science or a relevant fieldAt least 5 years of experience in a relevant position with proven experience in team managementStrong background in archival systems, cataloguing standards, and digital collectionsExperience working in museums, academic institutions, or cultural organizations is highly desirableStrong leadership and stakeholder engagement skillsIf you are passionate about preserving knowledge, supporting research, and building accessible collections, we would love to connect.#J-18808-Ljbffr
