Librarian

Librarian in Umm-al-Qaiwain, UAEWe are looking for a highly motivated and organized Librarian to join our team in Umm-al-Qaiwain. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the library's content and services, providing excellent customer service to patrons, and ensuring the library's collections are up-to-date.The Librarian will be required to maintain order within the library, manage circulation of library materials, assist patrons with research requests, teach patrons how to use the library's catalog system, provide reference assistance, and organize special events. They will also be responsible for managing budgets and maintaining accurate records of library transactions.The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills and an ability to work independently. They should possess strong interpersonal skills, a commitment to customer service excellence, an aptitude for working with technology, and a passion for books. Previous experience in a similar position is preferred but not essential as we are willing to consider candidates with no experience or training in this field.This is a full-time position offering a salary of 1300 AED per month.
