Librarian job vacancy in Umm-al-Qaiwain UAE for foreigners, and a summary of the job.We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Librarian to join our Umm-al-Qaiwain team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the care and maintenance of our library, as well as providing assistance to library users.The ideal candidate should have excellent organizational skills, knowledge of library catalogues and databases, strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently. An advanced degree in Library Science or a related field is preferred but not required. Furthermore, fluency in English is essential for this role.In return for your hard work, we offer a salary of 1200 AED per month, along with other benefits such as paid holidays, health insurance and pension contributions.The main duties of this role include organizing library collections, sorting books by genre or author name, maintaining the library catalogue system, assisting patrons with locating books or other items within the collection and helping patrons with technical issues related to library resources.
