We thank all applicants for applying for the role; only those selected for further consideration will be contacted.ResponsibilitiesYour CommitmentReporting to the Department Head, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development, delivery and evaluation of a broad range of courses in Environmental Health and Occupational Health and Safety within the College of Health Sciences. S/he will evaluate student progress and manage the resources of the learning environment. The successful candidate will liaise with industry and other educational institutions; participate in industry advisory committees and coordinate, manage and control projects within the specified program area. Faculty members will keep course portfolio documents required for accreditation processes and engage in instructional development/improvement plans. All employees are expected to contribute to professional and community life within the University and beyond.QualificationsEducation and Experience RequirementsEducationMaster's degree and Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health or Occupational Health and Safety from a recognized, accredited post‑secondary institution is required.Professional licensure and current registration with a recognized Occupational Health and Safety registry/body, e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, CRSP, CSP is preferred.A certificate, diploma or degree in Education (Secondary/Post‑Secondary), and teaching experience, preferably at a post‑secondary level is preferred.ExperienceFive years of relevant employment experience and professional licensure and current registration with a recognized Environmental Health registry/body is required.Demonstrated ability to use diverse and current teaching approaches in the classroom and for practice experiences including the laboratory, simulation, and practicums.Demonstrated ability to use a variety of educational technology and platforms.Demonstrated academic and information literacy skills.Expertise in curriculum development is desirable.Scholarship and ResearchDemonstrated performance in scholarship that contributes to the advancement of environmental health practice; ad
