LEAD ROTATING EQUIPMENT ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer to join our team for the engineering phase of onshore oil and gas projects based in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate must be ADNOC approved immediately available and possess a Western education background with extensive expertise in rotating equipment for onshore oil and gas projects.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the engineering design selection specification and procurement of rotating equipment including pumps, compressors, turbines and mechanical packages.Ensure compliance with ADNOC standards international codes and project requirements.Provide technical expertise and recommendations throughout the FEED and Detailed Engineering phases.Review and approve vendor documents technical drawings data sheets and equipment specifications.Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams EPC contractors and clients to ensure alignment with project objectives.Conduct technical evaluations feasibility studies and risk assessments related to rotating equipment.Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers within the team.Participate in HSE reviews design reviews and reliability assessments to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.Support construction precommissioning and commissioning activities as required.Key QualificationsBachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline from a recognized Western university.10-15 years of experience in rotating equipment engineering within the onshore oil and gas sector.ADNOC approval as a Lead Rotating Equipment Engineer is mandatory.Strong knowledge of API ASME ANSI and other international engineering standards.Extensive experience with FEED and Detailed Engineering for onshore oil & gas projects.Strong ability to lead teams coordinate with stakeholders and resolve technical challenges.Excellent communication and reportwriting skills in English.Must be immediately available to join the project in Abu Dhabi.VerticalEngineering#J-18808-Ljbffr
