The school delivers a high-quality<strong>American curriculum within an all-girls learning environment</strong>, focused on academic excellence, character development, and preparing students for global success.<br><br>The successful candidate will play a key role in<strong>overseeing curriculum implementation, monitoring teaching quality, and strengthening assessment frameworks across the K-12 program</strong>. Working closely with the Principal and leadership team, the Vice Principal will support the continued development of the school’s academic standards and ensure alignment with international best practices.<br><br>Key Responsibilities<br><br>Academic Leadership<br><br><br><ul><li>Oversee the implementation and development of the American curriculum across K-12.</li><li>Lead the monitoring and evaluation of teaching and learning practices.</li><li>Ensure consistent curriculum alignment, pacing, and academic rigor across all grade levels.</li><li>Support teachers in implementing effective instructional strategies and differentiated learning approaches.<br><br><br></li></ul>Curriculum&Assessment<br><br><br><ul><li>Lead the development and refinement of the school’s assessment framework.</li><li>Monitor student performance data and use insights to improve learning outcomes.</li><li>Ensure curriculum delivery aligns with international standards and accreditation expectations.</li><li>Work with department heads to ensure continuous improvement in curriculum design and assessment practices.<br><br><br></li></ul>Staff Development<br><br><br><ul><li>Provide instructional coaching and mentorship to teaching staff.</li><li>Lead professional development initiatives to strengthen pedagogy, assessment, and student engagement.</li><li>Support teacher evaluations and performance management processes.<br><br><br></li></ul>School Operations<br><br><br><ul><li>Assist the Principal with the day-to-day academic operations of the school.</li><li>Maintain high standards of student discipline, wellbeing, and safeguarding.</li><li>Foster a positive and collaborative school culture within an all-girls educational environment.<br><br><br></li></ul>Candidate Requirements<br><br><br><ul><li>Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, or related field.</li><li>Teaching qualification/licence (B.Ed, PGCE, or equivalent).</li><li>Minimum 5–7 years of teaching experience within an international school environment.</li><li>At least 3 years in a leadership role such as Assistant Principal, Vice Principal, or Head of Department.</li><li>Strong experience with the American curriculum framework.</li><li>Demonstrated experience in curriculum development, assessment design, and academic quality assurance.</li><li>Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.<br><br><br></li></ul>Package<br><br><br><ul><li>Salary: Up to a total and all inclusive 30,000 AED per month (tax-free)</li><li>Accommodation allowance or provided housing</li><li>Annual return flights</li><li>Medical insurance</li><li>Work visa sponsorship</li><li>Tuition fee coverage for up to two dependent children<br><br><br></li></ul><strong>About Ras Al Khaimah<br><br></strong>Ras Al Khaimah is one of the UAE’s fastest-growing emirates, known for its<strong>beautiful coastline, mountains, and high quality of life</strong>.
