In this role, you will work closely with our experienced Quantity Surveyors to support the delivery of projects by providing accurate and timely cost estimates and cost control measures.Key Responsibilities:Technical Delivery:Experience in all facets of quantity surveying including:Cost PlanningQuantity Take-OffPreparation of Bills of Quantities in CESMM formatEstimatingTender and Contract Document ProductionReport WritingClaim Evaluation/NegotiationGeneral Post Contract AdministrationValuation of VariationsAgreement of new ratesTaking Over Certificates and Defects LiabilityAssist the Project Manager on commercial mattersAssist in the preparation, submission, and agreement of interim payment applications to maximize the companys cashflowCoordinate to ensure compliance with contractual requirementsGeneral commercial management of sub-contractorsAccurate and efficient measurement and identification of variationsProduction and agreement of final accounts and any additional cost claimsPlacement of subcontract order and agreement of subcontract final accountsEnsure that income from interim applications Is received on timeCoordinate to ensure financial report is issued accurately in a timely mannerQualifications:Bachelor's degree in civil engineeringUAE National1-2 years of experience in quantity surveying or cost estimating, preferably in the construction industryStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and processesProficient in Microsoft Office and cost estimating softwareExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsStrong attention to detail and ability to work with complex dataExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWe Offer:Competitive salary and benefits packageOpportunities for career growth and developmentCollaborative and inclusive work environmentExposure to a variety of projects and clientsSupportive and knowledgeable team membersIf you are passionate about construction and have a strong desire to learn and grow in your career, we want to hear from you!
