The company prides itself on delivering high-quality designs tailored to meet clients' specific requirements across various industries.Role DescriptionThe Junior Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for assisting in the design and development of electrical systems for a variety of projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating electrical system layouts, preparing technical drawings, performing system calculations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to meet project specifications. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, UAE.QualificationsProficiency in Electrical Design and Design EngineeringKnowledge of Electrical Engineering principles and conceptsUnderstanding of Power Distribution systems and electricity fundamentalsFamiliarity with CAD software and other design tools for creating technical drawingsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailGood communication and teamwork abilitiesBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related fieldPrior experience or internships in electrical design or MEP-related projects are advantageousKey ResponsibilitiesAssist senior engineers in the preparation of:Load calculations and demand assessmentsLighting and small power layoutsEmergency and exit lighting systemsEarthing and lightning protection systemsELV systems layouts (Data, CCTV, Access Control, SMATV, BMS)Prepare basic engineering calculations such as:Electrical load schedulesVoltage drop calculationsCircuit breaker selectionShort circuit calculations (under supervision)Preparation of Design Basis Reports (DBR)Assist in preparing electrical drawings using AutoCAD/RevitSupport BIM coordination with other disciplines (HVAC, Plumbing, Architecture, Structure)Update drawings based on design reviews and markupsFollow company CAD/BIM standardsAssist in ensuring designs comply with:DEWA / ADDC / SEWA / KSA standards (as applicable)Local authority regulations and project specificationsSupport in preparing technical submissionsAttend internal coordination meetingsRespond to comments from senior engineersAssist in preparing tender and IFC documentationMaintain project documentation and drawing registersFollow company QA/QC proceduresAssist in preparation of BOQs and technical specificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.Experience: Minimum 2 years in MEP Design with Dubai/UAE project experience.Certifications: DEWA/ADDC/DM accreditation is an advantage.Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of DEWA, ADDC, Dubai Civil Defense (DCD), and other UAE authority approvals.Communication Skills: Ability to liaise with clients, consultants, and contractors effectively.Valid UAE Driving License is a plus.How to ApplyInterested candidates can send their updated CV and portfolio to "hr@hgec.ae" with the subject line "Electrical Design & Supervision Engineer Application, UAE– (Your Name)".#J-18808-Ljbffr
