Overview Of The RoleWe are looking for a detail oriented Junior Accountant / Cashier to support our Finance function within automotive operations. This role plays a key part in handling daily cash transactions, maintaining accurate accounting records, and supporting reconciliations and reporting, ensuring compliance with company policies and financial controls. What You Will DoHandle daily cash, card, and cheque transactions related to vehicle sales, service, and partsIssue official receipts and ensure accurate allocation to the correct accountsMaintain daily cash books and perform end of day cash reconciliationsPrepare daily cash collection summaries by business line (Sales, Service, Parts)Deposit cash collections in line with company policy and safeguard all negotiable instrumentsRecord basic accounting entries including sales, expenses, receipts, and paymentsSupport bank, cash, and ledger reconciliationsAssist with accounts payable and receivable activitiesCoordinate with Sales and Parts teams on documentation and postingsSupport audits by providing required documents and explanations Required Skills to Be Successful Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field0-2 years of experience in accounting or cashiering (fresh graduates are welcome to apply)Basic understanding of accounting principlesPrevious exposure to retail, automotive, or service environments is an advantage About The Team You will be part of the Finance and Accounts team, working closely with Sales, Service, and Parts departments.
