Infrastructure Engineer

” The Job Description”Design, deploy, and maintain on-premise and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, Azure).Monitor and manage system performance, availability, and reliability.Perform routine maintenance, upgrades, and patching of hardware and software.Configure and troubleshoot network components (LAN/WAN, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, DHCP).Implement and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions.Collaborate with software developers, security engineers, and other IT staff.Ensure systems meet business needs and service-level agreements (SLAs).Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.Manage and maintain virtual environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).Provide support for escalated technical issues and incidents.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience as an Infrastructure Engineer or in a similar role.Strong knowledge of system administration (Windows/Linux).Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Familiarity with virtualization technologies and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).Understanding of networking protocols and security best practices.Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus).Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Preferred Qualifications:Certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, AWS Solutions Architect, or CompTIA Network+/Security+.Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).Scripting knowledge (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).Tagged as: AWS, azure, bash, GCP, linux, nagios, powershell, python, windows, zabbix#J-18808-Ljbffr
