Information technology project manager

We are seeking an experiencedIT Project Manager – Consultantto manage, coordinate, and monitor a portfolio of IT projects from initiation through closure. The role ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with strategic objectives, while maintaining strong governance, stakeholder engagement, and risk control.The ideal candidate will have strong experience inbanking and financial services IT projects , with proven expertise in project delivery, vendor management, and cross-functional coordination.Key Responsibilities1. Project Delivery & GovernanceManage a portfolio of IT projects in alignment with organizational project management methodologiesEnsure successful execution based on defined goals, timelines, and quality standardsMonitor project performance and ensure alignment with strategic plansBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal departments and business unitsManage vendor engagements and ensure contractual obligations are metCoordinate across IT teams to ensure smooth project execution3. Communication & ReportingCommunicate project updates, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior managementPrepare and maintain:Closure reportsEnsure timely and accurate reporting across all project phases4. Risk, Issue & Compliance ManagementIdentify, assess, and mitigate project risksManage scope changes and minimize risk exposureEnsure compliance with internal policies, audit requirements, and security standardsConduct and participate in project team and client meetingsProvide direction and ensure alignment across teamsHandle project-related personnel challenges in coordination with HR6. Technical & Operational UnderstandingUnderstand system architecture, integrations, and technical constraintsSupport decision-making with technical insightEnsure adherence to IT security and data protection policies7.
