Industrial Maintenance Technician

OverviewCandidate should have experience and working knowledge of mechanical pneumatic hydraulic electrical and welding equipment. Candidate should have experience and working knowledge of Overhead cranes maintenance with different capacities. Perform general maintenance of warehouse equipment may include troubleshooting (Conveyors Motors Air Compressors Pneumatic Devices Compactors Power Equipment Printers) machine tools pumps bearings blowers fans gearboxes air handlers and other equipment as required.ResponsibilitiesAbility to connect to PLCs using the maintenance PC system and do basic programming and troubleshootingMaintaining repairing troubleshooting all machinery and equipmentPerform precision maintenance on automated robotic equipment includes preventive maintenance general upkeep and daily cleanings Conducts preventive maintenance inspections and perform required preventative maintenance actions such as lubrication cleaning filter changes alignmentsAbility to diagnose problems for facility and production equipment and make needed repairs and the ability to install new equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production and facility equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production and facilities equipment during machine serviceAbility to work across all two shifts weekends and holidays as required to accomplish facility and production related tasksDiagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them checking blueprints repair manuals or parts catalogs as necessary and repair or replace defective equipment parts using hand tools and power tools and reassemble equipmentProviding an intermediate level of expertise in responding to work orders troubleshooting and providing preventive maintenance on the production equipment and systems in a large industrial environmentDay to day coverage of production equipment in assigned area complete scheduled PMs respond to alarms solve equipment breakdowns and fulfill production requests efficiently to minimize downtimeQualificationsStrong technical background with experience in production industries preferredMinimum of 35 years of related experience working in a Post Production/industrial plant.Electrician license or 2year technical degree in Industrial Maintenance or Engineering preferredAbility to learn nomenclature of all assigned equipment products and quality standardsAbility to learn to identify product defectsAbility to read write and comprehend written material#J-18808-Ljbffr
