The role ensures all civil works support the electrical equipment safely and according to standards.1. Site Preparation and LayoutReview civil drawings, electrical layouts, and specifications for the substation project.Coordinate with surveyors for site setting out and levels.Ensure proper site grading and earthworks before construction.Mark locations for:Gantry structuresEquipment pedestalsControl building2. Foundation and Structural WorksSupervise construction of reinforced concrete foundations for:Power transformersGantry structuresCable support structuresEnsure proper reinforcement placement, formwork, and concrete pouring.Check anchor bolts alignment and positioning for electrical equipment.3. Control Building ConstructionSupervise construction of the substation control room building, including:FoundationsStructural concrete worksBlock/brick wallsRoof slabFinishing worksEnsure spaces for switchgear rooms, relay rooms, and battery rooms are constructed as per drawings.4.
