As an ICT Teacher, you will play a key role in helping students develop essential digital literacy skills and an understanding of technology, which will prepare them for success in a technology-driven world. You will deliver engaging lessons that integrate technology into the curriculum, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills while encouraging creativity and collaboration.</p><p>The ideal candidate will have a strong knowledge of ICT concepts, a passion for teaching technology, and the ability to engage students in the effective and responsible use of digital tools.</p><h3>Key Responsibilities:</h3><ul><li>Plan and deliver engaging ICT lessons that align with the U.S. curriculum and promote digital literacy.</li><li>Teach students about key concepts in computing, including coding, programming, hardware and software, internet safety, and the ethical use of technology.</li><li>Integrate technology into other subjects and encourage students to use ICT tools for research, collaboration, and creative projects.</li><li>Develop students' problem-solving, computational thinking, and digital skills through hands-on activities and projects.</li><li>Assess student progress through assignments, projects, and assessments, providing feedback to support continuous improvement.</li><li>Foster a safe and responsible digital learning environment by educating students on internet safety, cybersecurity, and online etiquette.</li><li>Stay current with emerging technology trends and incorporate new tools and resources into lesson plans.</li><li>Collaborate with other teachers to enhance cross-curricular integration of ICT and support digital learning across subjects.</li><li>Communicate regularly with parents to update them on student progress and digital learning developments.</li></ul></div>#J-18808-Ljbffr
