Job Description

<div><h3>Scope and Purpose</h3><ul><li>To independently manage all aspects of the Human Resources function at GieseckeDevrient Currency Technology FZE Egypt branch. This role will act as a strategic partner to the business while ensuring smooth daily HR operations compliance with local labour laws and alignment with GDs regional and global HR standards.</li></ul><h3>Key Result Areas&Responsibilities</h3><ul><li>Talent Acquisition&Onboarding<ul><li>Coordinate recruitment processes including job posting, screening, interviewing and hiring.</li><li>Prepare employment contracts and ensure timely onboarding of new hires.</li><li>Conduct orientation sessions and implement a structured onboarding plan for new employees.</li><li>Preparing and assisting new joiners on filling out joining and compliance forms.</li><li>Introduce new joiner to all employees and show office facilities.</li><li>Scheduling and monitoring Induction Plan and Probation Reviews (Probation Objectives setting periodic reviews and confirmation of services after successful completion of probation) for new joiners.</li></ul></li><li>Policy and Compliance<ul><li>Develop and implement local HR policies and procedures in alignment with MEA/Global HR directives.</li><li>Create and maintain an Employee Handbook and ensure all employees are well-informed on HR policies.</li><li>Ensure compliance with Egyptian labour laws and internal company guidelines.</li><li>Ensure compliance documents are signed and documented for all HR service providers.</li><li>Keeping organization chart of the company updated always.</li></ul></li><li>Compensation and Benefits<ul><li>Process payroll in coordination with Finance ensuring timely and accurate payment.</li><li>Administer compensation and benefits programs including medical, life insurance and workmen's compensation.</li><li>Medical insurance policy administration renewal census, list updating claims handling general enquiries from employees and handling invoices etc.</li><li>Life insurance policy administration renewal census, list updating claims handling general enquiries from employees and handling invoices etc.</li><li>Workmen Compensation Policy administration and renewal.</li><li>Annual Salary Review: Handling annual salary review process in coordination with Regional Head of HR (budget preparation and approval from HQ, preparing salary increment tables with approved budget approvals, letters preparation, distribution etc.).</li><li>Handling annual bonus payment, preparation of bonuses letters and related processes.</li><li>Updating and maintaining employee CTC (Cost to the company) file and salary register.</li></ul></li><li>Performance&Development<ul><li>Implement and manage the Targets / Objectives setting and performance review processes.</li><li>Support managers in setting objectives and evaluating performance fairly and consistently.</li><li>Identify training needs and execute and coordinate internal and external training and development initiatives.</li><li>Prepare update and make sure that the latest job descriptions signed by the employees and kept in individual employee folders.</li><li>Organizing coaching and mentoring programs for the employees.</li></ul></li><li>Employee Relations&Communication<ul><li>Serve as the primary HR contact for all staff at the Egypt office.</li><li>Address employee inquiries and resolve workplace issues with fairness and discretion.</li><li>Foster a positive workplace culture.</li></ul></li><li>HR Systems&Reporting<ul><li>Implement and enhance HR systems (SuccessFactors and other HR systems) and tools to increase efficiency and data accuracy.</li><li>Prepare and submit monthly HR reports to Regional HR and ensure data alignment with regional and global standards.</li></ul></li><li>Employee welfare<ul><li>Organising Team Building and Social activities to improve employee engagement and boost employee morale.</li><li>Outstanding Performers Award – coordination arranging awards payment etc.</li></ul></li><li>Other Tasks<ul><li>Manage the full employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, development, retention and offboarding (Completing Exit Clearance Formalities and Final Settlement).</li><li>Internal systems and employee records (Maintain and update employee records and HR databases ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality).</li><li>SAP Foundation</li><li>SF Performance&Feedback, SF People Review, Leave Tool</li><li>SF Learning, SF Development, SF recruiting</li><li>Employee Basic Details</li><li>Amendment of employment contracts and terms and conditions as and when required.</li><li>Leave Management and reminding employees regarding leave balance and reporting to HODs/Managers.</li><li>Conducting employee surveys (employee engagement, 360 feedback, 180 feedback etc.).</li><li>Taking disciplinary actions as per labour law and as per company policy.</li><li>Arranging Employment Letters, Salary Certificates and NOCs.</li><li>Attending internal and external auditors.</li><
